Baby Room at Chinley Day Nursery
Where the journey starts
Our baby room offers a caring and nurturing environment to enable your child to explore the range of activities and experiences throughout the nursery day. Your baby will have a key person who will observe and plan appropriate activities for your child to encourage and support their development and interests. The baby room offers a range of toys to explore and continuous provision which includes sand, water and messy play. Each child has a routine sheet that is filled in by a member of staff daily and sent home, this records your babies routine for the day e.g. when they have slept, eaten etc.

In the baby rooms we follow the Development Matters Framework and concentrate on the three prime areas of development within the EYFS. The three prime areas are Personal, Social and Emotional, Communication & Language and Physical development these provide a sound foundation for their early development.

By providing a safe, warm and stimulating environment we hope your baby will become confident, curious and happy toddlers ready for their move into toddler room.
Visit our baby room
We offer settling in visits as well as transition visits to help your child feel at ease and to give parents/carers the opportunity to meet the team and ask any questions ready for your child starting at Chinley day nursery.
